Exploring The Benefits Of Shredding Services

Hi there, I'm Ginny Rickets. As a business owner, I always pay close attention to reports of identity theft. In my area, people were stealing documents out of the garbage to obtain personally identifiable information about their victims. The biggest impacts were to businesses that threw all of their old client and employee information into the trash at the end of the year. I began researching ways to avoid this crime and stumbled across shredding service companies. I was instantly won over by the services offered by shredding professionals. I now take all of my old documents into the shredding department to dispose of them properly. I hope to use this website to inspire others to do the same. I will share the benefits of using a shredded service over the other document disposal options. Thanks for visiting.

Questions To Ask Before Signing A Long-Term Dumpster Rental Agreement

If you own or run a business that generates a lot of trash on a regular basis, you might want to sign up for a long-term dumpster rental. Under this type of agreement, the dumpster company will leave a dumpster at your place perpetually. They'll come out on a regular schedule to empty the dumpster for you. This generally allows you to dispose of a lot more waste than your public trash collection service is willing to pick up, and it allows you to do so more conveniently. However, there are a few questions you'll want to ask before signing a contract for long-term dumpster rental.

How often will the company come dump the dumpster?

You're probably used to your local trash disposal company coming once a week, and as such, you may assume the dumpster company will come weekly, too. But this is not always the case. Some dumpster rental companies come several times per week. Others may only come every other week. Still others will allow you to select how often they come, and just adjust your bill accordingly.

Check your long-term rental contract before you sign it, and if you're unhappy with the emptying frequency, ask the dumpster rental company about it. They may be able to come more or less often and adjust your contract to better fit your needs.

What happens if you need a different size dumpster?

Your needs may change in a few months or a few years. You may find that you're generating more waste and need a larger dumpster, or you may find that you're never filling the dumpster and can get away with a smaller one.

Some long-term rental contracts will allow you to swap dumpsters up to a a certain number of times for a certain fee. Others specify that you have to keep a certain dumpster for the duration of that contract and can only get a different size when the contract is up. This might be okay if the contract is a short one, but you may not want to sign a multi-year contract that specifies you can't change dumpster size — unless you're really confident your trash needs won't change in that time.

If you ask these questions before signing a long-term dumpster rental contract, you'll have a better idea of what you're getting. It's important to make sure the contract, and not just the dumpster, really suit your needs. Look into dumpsters near you.
