Exploring The Benefits Of Shredding Services

Hi there, I'm Ginny Rickets. As a business owner, I always pay close attention to reports of identity theft. In my area, people were stealing documents out of the garbage to obtain personally identifiable information about their victims. The biggest impacts were to businesses that threw all of their old client and employee information into the trash at the end of the year. I began researching ways to avoid this crime and stumbled across shredding service companies. I was instantly won over by the services offered by shredding professionals. I now take all of my old documents into the shredding department to dispose of them properly. I hope to use this website to inspire others to do the same. I will share the benefits of using a shredded service over the other document disposal options. Thanks for visiting.

How To Organize The Bathroom With Labels

Using stickers and labels for items in your bathroom will help you to keep organized and easily tell when items are past their prime. If you have a tendency to hold on to products because you don't want to get rid of them, or you don't know how old they are or, if they're still good, the following information will help you organize your bathroom.

Make up

Knowing how long make up items last will help you know when to dispose of products that are too old. If make up products are too old they may not work anymore, but what's worse, is they could be harboring bacteria that can lead to skin infections.

Eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara are only good for six months. Lip sticks and gloss last up to two years, and foundation is good for up to one year. If you tend to keep your make up items well past their expiration dates, or you simply lose track of when you purchased and opened items, labeling can rectify the problem for you.

All you need to do is get some small labeling stickers, and when you open a make up item, such as liquid foundation, write the date on a sticker, and put it on the bottle of foundation. As a side note, some bathrooms harbor moisture and can lead to make up spoiling earlier than intended. If your bathroom traps moisture, install a ceiling fan or move your make up to a cooler, dry room in the house.

Medication

Prescription medication usually has the date marked on the bottle for you by the pharmacy, but if you divide your pills into a daily pill planner, you might lose track of how old the pills are. If you do not use your pill divider as regularly as you should, make an extra effort to do so, so that you do not take pills that are too old.

Some medications are harmless and still effective after their expiration date, but you must research which ones you can keep and which you should toss. Ask your pharmacist which medications, including over-the-counter ones, are okay to take after the expiration date marked.

Other Items

It would be wise to also label hair care products, such as shampoo and conditioner and styling products with the date you open them. Shampoo might not harm your hair or scalp if applied years after you've purchased the product, but it may not be as effective as it could be. If you label your products, you will be more likely to use them up as soon as possible.

If you are a woman who enjoys trying new products, try to use the entire bottle or container before throwing it out or stuffing it in the back of a shelf. If you find that you dislike the product, donate it to a food and supply pantry, or give it to a friend who might enjoy it. Wasting the product by throwing it away is bad for the environment and your wallet. The same goes for moisturizers, toothpaste, mouthwash, and other beauty products.

Labeling products with dates will save you time and worry, and it doesn't take long. It's a simple way to keep track of what you have and how long you've had it. To get label stickers, contact a company like Northwest Label.
